Ling Xu, CPA (Joined the firm July, 2005)
 
Originating from China, Ling came to the U.S. in 1987. She has six years previous public accounting experience and an additional six years of private industry experience as a controller for a manufacturing company and a financial reporting manager for a Fortune 100 entertainment company.
 
Primary emphasis in tax, auditing and accounting, and general business consulting.
 
Ling graduated with honors from West Coast University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She is a member of California Society of CPA’s.
 
 
Joni Jones, CPA (Joined the firm January, 2006)
 
Thirteen years accounting and tax experience.
 
Primary emphasis in trust, partnership and corporation tax services. Experience includes accounting, auditing, individual and business taxation, and business advisory services as well as tax planning and foreign reporting for individuals.
 
Joni graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting. She is a member of California Society of CPA’s.
 
 
Ellie Valdez, CPA (Joined the firm February, 2005)
 
Twenty five years overall experience in administration, accounting and taxation.
 
Primary emphasis is taxation and business advisory services as well as tax planning and compliance for individuals.
 
Ellie graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, emphasis in Accounting. She received her Master of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University in December, 2008. She is a member of California Society of CPA’s.
 
  
Peggy Kocina, Professional Associate (Joined the firm February, 2005)
 
Seventeen years experience in private industry including manufacturing, electronics and foods. Ten years experience in public accounting.
 
Primary emphasis in business tax including non-profits and QuickBooks consulting.
 
Peggy graduated from California State University, Fresno with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, emphasis in Accounting. She earned QuickBooks Proadvisor certification for 2008 and 2009.
 
 
Lori Barnett, ProfessionalAssociate (Joined the firm November, 2000)
 
Ten years experience in private industry as a receptionist and administrative assistant in addition to seven years as administrative assistant with our firm.
 
Primary emphasis is in payroll tax, property tax, sales tax, 1099 reporting and financial statements.
 
Lori is attending Ashworth University to earn an accounting degree. She is also training to be a QuickBooks Proadvisor.
 
 
Paula Tannahill, Administrator (Joined the firm January, 2004)
 
Thirty eight years overall experience in administration and accounting including fifteen years self employed, clients including manufacturing, investment industry and non-profit.
 
Primary emphasis is administrative functions of the firm including financial reporting, technical support and human resources.
 
 
Jen Santoro, Administrative Assistant (Joined the firm in September, 2006)
 
Six years experience in administration for private industry including the fashion industry.
 
Primary emphasis is administrative support of the firm.
